Hi, I’m Sabrina Siegel, a Visual & UI/UX Designer focusing on the cross-points of design and psychology.

Stumped
Empowering plant-owners to better care
for and grow their gardens.

A tool for plant-owners: rookie to expert
Stumped is a mobile app aiming to make plant-care a little easier. When plants aren't standing the tallest and leaves aren't shining the brightest, Stumped aims to supply plant owners with the tools to cure their plants, learn about their illnesses and care patterns, and explore opportunities for their gardens.

Plants are specific. So are care routines.
Plant care can be overwhelming and aimless. Below are some problems
that were identified within user interviews.

Persona development
Research consisted of user interviews and competitive audits, which
led to the development of user personas, journeys and flows.

Defining the goals
After analyzing research, our team was able to clearly identify opportunity areas and further define where the platform could introduce value propositions.

Determining user flows
After identifying the problem and understanding the user, it was time to dive into visualizing the user flow. Through rounds of sketching, I was able to iterate on low-fi wires, test through prototypes, and solidify the sitemap.

Design
As I moved further into the UI portion of the project, I created a component system and style sheet. This system was carried out across all app screens. Eventually, a high-fidelity prototype was create to better illustrate interaction across the app and to test success among users.
